Eclipse Jet #001 Take off from Sedona Airport

October 18, 2008

This is the much talked about Eclipse jet. It recently stopped at the Sedona Arizona airport for fuel on its way back to New Mexico where the factory is located. This was the first production Eclipse off the embly line. This aircraft seats 6 counting the pilot and is designed to be very easy to fly. Go to the factories’ website: www.eclipseaviation.com for more information. This aircraft is the first of thousands to be built by this company and others – it will change aviation and transportation in ways not seen since jet airliners replaced prop airliners.

For anyone who hasn’t been paying attention, this is a very nice airplane that will never be built in Albuquerque, NM. It is not even a sure thing that this will be built in Russia? Most likely outcome at this point appears to be the inevitable sale to a real aircraft manufacturer and the reappearance in the market place as something else.

Got something to say?
