hi, I want to be a banker but later a pilot after I quit banking.says u need 600hrs, could this b on Cessna's?

for example, Qatar Airways, u need 1000hrs, could this be on any sort of aircraft. I fly a cessna reguarly and have 2300hrs
thank you

If you are the pilot in command of that Cessna meaning you have your pilots license and are the sole manipulator of the controls then yes, that time does count… they will probably however have a requirement for Multi-Engine time, and in that case, a single engine cessna will not fulfil the requirements…

Also, they will require a Commercial, which you dont need to fly your cessna around, and an instrument, which you may or may not already have…

Know that this answer pertains more to flying in the US than in other countries…

Your question is a bit hard to understand. If you are asking about flying for Qatar airways, the minimum qualifications are available at the link below. I think you need more than 1000 hours of experience to be competitive. The 1000 hours is generally in airplanes. Your 600 hours in Cessna's would count towards the 1000 total time, but, it says you need 500 hours "on type" which means you need to have previous first officer experience on the one of the aircraft they fly. If I were you, I would apply and see what happens….good luck!

If you REALLY have 2300 hours you shouldn't even have to ask this question.

It is very difficult to believe that a person with 2300 hours in any type of aircraft would not have absorbed enough information about aviation to be able to answer this themselves. Osmosis through the part of your body with greatest contact area with the aircraft should count.

Nope, and the 600 hrs you're gonna spend flippin burgers won't count either, or the other place after that that you go flip burgers at for 600 hours won't count either.
    References :
Once you get up to 2300 hours flippin burgers they'll credit you for .5 hours of flying time, which is about how much your 2300 hours of pokin holes in clouds with that Cessna is worth to them, zilch..

Got something to say?
