How does a person strangle themselves if their hands are handcuffed behind their back?
October 16, 2008
This is in regards to the recent News Clip about a woman who was handcuffed behind her back and put into a holding room at an Arizona Airport and then they claimed she ACCIDENTLY strangled herself while trying to get the handcuffs off.
You think about hands behind your back and trying to get them in front … nope, no risk there (except maybe getting stuck around your ankles and ending up like a pretzel on the floor). And if she was handcuffed in front then what??? No way, no way possible. Even if she was trying to get out of them she be what, sitting there twisting her wrists and pulling. How's that get anywhere near her neck? Fishiest story I've read. And hey, aren't there cameras watching the holding cell? wierd! Something is wrong here.

Got something to say?
yes I would like to know the same thing. There is something about that story that just isnt right. I could see her breaking an arm or even breaking her neck, but strangling herself?

The whole story sounds extremely fishy. Anyone who has been in handcuffs will see the ludicrousness in this.
