on a full tank would a cessna make it from britain to spain.. or maybe further, or would it have to do a stop on the way to refuel?

    if you would keep …
if you would keep your nose up in the air longer it will be less bumpy unless your like 10ft in the air then you will just slam down.

HA you sound like my dad, he’s been a pilot my longer than I’ve been alive and still complains about bumps. Mean while I’ve only been flying for a few years and say “any landing you walk away from (and preferably don’t damage the aircraft) is a good one. haha.

    yup, you can easily …
yup, you can easily make a 60 kt landing, but that’s too fast IMO. You’ll only get the horn below about 50 kts.

    Great landing. I …
Great landing. I love how the 172, upon the wheels touching the ground, goes side to side as each wheel grabs. Really hard to make those things 2 point every time.

  24. adster12 on April 12th, 2009 6:42 pm

    the stall horn …
the stall horn always goes off on those planes right before touch down, it is normal for most cessna 152-206’s to do that

  25. usafaux35th on April 12th, 2009 6:42 pm

    ya…. good job …
ya…. good job getting the stall horn to go off before the wheels touched.

And talk about a displaced threhold

Got something to say?
