At least someone survived. That’s the only midair collision I know of where there were survivors, let alone a plane in flying condition. Pretty amazing, really.

The embraer legacy shocked with a boeing 737-800 and remained in conditions to fly on with the rear wing broken.

The boeing crashed and 154 people died.

    The Citation X is …
The Citation X is currently the fastest production business jet in the world at mach .92. Even though the G650 probably will fly at mach .925 as Gulfstream claims, it is not in production and will not receive its type certification until at least 2011. Additionally, the Citation X is currently being upgraded, and could fly at mach .93 or faster afterwards as its engines are currently down-rated. At full power (no down-rating) it can fly faster than mach 1 in straight and level flight.

Got something to say?
