Sounds like a music! Congratulations, radial engines…… Put more videos, showing the engine gauges. Tks from Brazil
I love the question right at the end after the engine is running… “Do you have any tail-wheel time?”
After I say that might help you can hear me flip the alt switch on.
ya lol
🙂 thanks for the empathy… she’s a beauty though, eh?
rofl! i did that once!
Mags weren’t turned on…probably a first 😉
Checklist…ahh, who needs ’em! (apparently we did) ha.
Amen…
guess that might help lol mags not on??
‘Ol Shakey Jake. Sweet.
I like how nervous that guy in the back looks. Great sound!
If it aint a radial, it aint aviation. 🙂
Aha!
Man that engine sounds nice, though.
I build GE90s for a living, which is the most powerful high bypass turbofan on the planet, but it doesn’t sound near as sweet as this.
The Alt. switch was off.
It sure is. Talk about an adrenaline rush.
That’s a Jacobs 7 cylinder Radial isn’t it? ,that’s what it sounds like
“Guess that might help.”
Did he leave the mags off? Throttle closed?
Regardless, those old “Shaky Jakes” sound mighty fine.
nothing beats the sound of a radial!
HA! I gather you forgot to switch the mags on after a few blades!
man that took forever to fire
but its an olde but goodie!
Love the radials 😀
doesnt sound the best lol
