Markham Street Films and Vision TV Presents “Driven By Vision” Episode 205 From the flat expanses of Kingman Kansas and the lush hills of North Carolina come three men — bound by the properties of wood. Wood that they shape to tell stories of war, of Jesus, of birds and of critters (whose species is known only to Clyde Jones). Part A Benny Carter, Folk Art Yard Show – Mayodan, North Carolina Benny Carters bird houses populate the yard surrounding his house amid the shrines to Jesus and exhortations to Buy art! As chatty as his birds, his work communicates to all who will listen. Part B – Glenn Stark, Woodcarver – Kingman, Kansas Over in Kansas, Glenn Starks creations tell his own often humorous tales of what it is to be human. From fear of the doctors rear-end inoculations to the social intricacies of a church congregation, Glenn and his carvings can praise the Lord and chuckle at humanity at the same time.
