Ok I am at a little over 18 hours and I just wanted to make sure that I was at pace with other pilots for my solo. I have a few more flights to do then I can solo, so thanks!

when we do a power off stall we simply idle the engine. on my check flight, the examiner told me we were going to practice emergency procedure. so, he took the key out of the ignition and said, ok your engine is gone.

wow can u imagine if u turned off your engine in air and did engine offf stall and had to turn it back on

That is awesome. I have the same birthday as you and my best friend paid for me a discovery flight and now I am hooked. I have always wanted to fly when I was a kid.

That’s awesome man! I just started my training a week ago, and on the second lesson I did a majority of my landing unassisted, can’t wait to get to doing solos! And I’m from OC and wish I had been learning out of there, but I go to school in Missouri, so I’m learning out of Springfield (SGF)

    Sick job!!!!

Hey man congrats. I just did my 1st solo today. Greased the 1st landing. Its an awesome feeling when you do that first takeoff and landing alone. Once again congrats.
