Can you imagine sitting at the crossing in your car waiting to get across?
How is there Norfolk Southern in Arizona?
so does that fresh mountain air…
I did, lived at the Downtowner b,ock and a half south of the tracks. Believe it or not you are eventually able to sleep through the train noise.
Flagstaff is beautiful, and the trains make it sweeter.
Haha, this really made us laugh. We spent two days in Flagstaff at a hotel near the railroad. I must say that I also loved that sound! Much more charming than the airport I live “next to”.
We also made a video of the loooong trains, but my video isn’t QUITE as long as this.
Managed to go downtown Flagstaff before we left. I loved this place. Thank you for sharing the video!
got caught on enterprise trying to beat the train…fail
just walked home on san fran…the other night
tried to beat the train…fail
its amazing how close we get to those monsters…
I was conceived on an AT&SF and I LOVE this sound. I could sleep right next to the tracks in Flag 365 nights a year.
everytime i go to flagstaff, we always get a hotel away from the railway. I cant stand train noise.. not used to it like my parents
I remember being in Flagstaff for the first time, and lodging in a motel near the railway.
Now I sleep way outside of town,when I’m there….thats a mistake you won’t make twice,lol.
Nice power on the 2nd train!
i almost shit my pants after the consist of the 2nd train
Flagstaff was built for the railroad…and the locals love the sound…trains are fast becoming a thing of the past, and Flagstaff residents have the advantage of experiencing this mode of transportation first hand! Noisy or not, it is what Flagstaff was built on. I saw the end: three minutes, twelve seconds! LOL Great vid! Thanks!
that wasnt a 90mac its a 70m-2
lol
Omygawd, I remember bein’ all late for work waiting for that shit!!!
trains come about every 15 mins not every hour
Also funny is that theres more NS power out there on those then there was BNSF. LOL
He really let you have it on that NS with the K5LLA, bet your teeth chattered on that one!! it was right in your face when let that 1L reverse bell slap you like a round house kick…chuck norris style. LOL
Well, it’s even worse! there’s about one or two trains passing every hour!!! And they’re really noisy with the big horn 😉
Imagine a train like this per day, everyone must have its schedule on note to pass the rail crossing before or after when it comes!
je zal maar moeten plassen en de wc is aan de
andere kant oejoejoejoei!
ive seen an sd90MAC before. It was union pacific
OOOOOH you saw an SD70M-2! Lucky
