Got something to say?
Hi iv got a lovey lovebird called lucy lu and i was wondering if you could tell me how u tought your bird how to do that its amazing!!! good work
Such a cutie ^.^
Well, clipping his wings will make him a lot more dependent on you, and then he might turn around. 🙂
I’ve had him since december of 2006 and used to come to me untill all his feathers grew back on his wings. Now since he has figured out that he can fly anywhere he wants, he just goes away from me. I’m getting his wings clipped today so maybe that’ll make him behave a little better.
Well, hes only a baby and I handraised him. xD That is why he comes to me. He absolutely adores me. Start off by holding the bird closely to you, make it feel a little more comfortable. If its nervous, only do it for a short amount of time everyday, and then wean the bird onto it getting into longer sessions each day. Then after your bird is comfortable with being around you, then start calling it and placing it short distances from you to see what it does.
How do you teach a lovebird to come to you? Whenever I call mine he just ignores me! What should I do??
