New Year’s Eve Pine Cone Drop Flagstaff, Arizona 2010

This starts with about 20 seconds left of 2009. Huge crowd for the 10th annual Giant Pine Cone Drop at the Weatherford Hotel in downtown Flagstaff, Arizona. MUCH different from that first year’s dressed up garbage can! It was 7 degrees according to weather dot com and I saw women out there with open toe shoes and one guy with shorts…. no kidding! lol The fireworks caught me by surprise as well as the announcer and music blasting from the hotel. The Pine Cone drops twice, once at 10pm for families, and once at midnight.
