Parrot Training Stands – Perches for Teaching Parrot Tricks

October 10, 2010 Originally I developed these perches for my own personal training use as I could not find a suitable stand for flight training Kili. Now, I would like to offer these stands for sale to anyone that would like to benefit from the same convenient, adjustable height stands for their own parrots. If you have seen any of my videos, I am sure you will have seen the endless uses I have had for these stands. Please visit my new website if you’d like to pick up a set of these stands More info about these stands in my blog article

    @CombatArmMaster Yes, I do now. However, I can offer the standard flat rate price only to certain provinces and only to members of my parrot forum. Otherwise there is a small surcharge for whatever the shipping is greater than it would normally be in the continental US. Please PM me your postal code so that I could check what I can ship it to you for. PM me on the forum to take advantage of the forum members discount (free shipping to Ontario or bonus parrot toys).

    @kiliparrot Thats good. Since your working with him on flight recall i suppose he would probably be really good at flight retrieve.

    @MsHorselover8 Not yet. I’m mostly working on recall with him for now.

    @illigersinSpokane There are more details and pictures on the website (the link is right underneath the video). Each stand is 10lbs. 8-9lbs of that is at the base and the top is much lighter so it keeps them from falling over if a bird lands on them at speed.

    Great! Love em! Could you show us what the base looks like? Is it big? Heavy? I think Ill get one!

    @emilygclarinet They pretty much just want to go back cause they like being on them. Sometimes give a random reward for going back.

    How do you teach the parrots to fly to their perch (like Truman does at 1:20 in the video)?

    @karenctran Yes, check and money order are fine. PM me or email me through the website (once i get a contact box up) and I can send you an invoice and instructions for mailing a check. Good luck.

    Do you have to pay by credit card. Can you buy it with a check?
    I’m planning to earn enough money with my report cards to buy one stand when I’m able to teach my bird to step up.

    @Maanleentjh Yeah, sorry. I checked and the shipping to Europe for 20lbs is like $300!!!!! If I ever figure out a way to make them available in Europe for no additional cost, I’ll keep you posted. Right now I’m focusing on how to get them to Canada without too much mark up. International sales are not at all simple, sorry.

  14. kiliparrot on October 10th, 2010 4:36 pm

    @alanek354654 Sorry, international shipping to Europe costs more than the stands themselves.

    @Maanleentjh or not
    “Shipping within continental US” ??? so shipping to europe is not an option :p
