N Scale Santa Fe Super C – Flagstaff, AZ, 1972

The fastest freight train in the world was the Santa Fe’s “Super C” all-piggyback train between Chicago and Los Angeles. We’ll take the time machine to see it led by EMD FP45 #5942 and two F45’s charging through Flagstaff, Arizona, in July 1972. All the buildings are scratchbuilt from photos and measurements of actual Flagstaff structures.
