I assume that everyone lands in one direstion and then take off in the opposite direction. Is the reason for that because planes cant climb out fast enough to clear the mountains on the other end of the approach end?

@spankybrandonf Although I’ve never flown the 414 I have flown alot of aircraft with digital and/or “glass” instrumentation. By looking at the video it appears the instrument you are referring to “going crazy” is just a result of the shutter of the camera filming and the refresh rate of the instrument. Same effect you see when someone video tapes a computer monitor and refresh rate of the screen and the shutter speed of the camera don’t match up.

Nah man its easy. you just got to calc the rate of decent and the elevation of the airport then youll hit it
