Tech 21 SansAmp VT Bass
November 23, 2010
www.tech21nyc.com Hey, I don’t pretend to call myself a bass player but I know a decent bottom end when I hear it. I think the VT Bass delivers just that. Check it out. A lot of people have asked me where they can get one of these basses. They are distributed by an Australian company called Central Musical Instruments and cost peanuts. A link, you ask? Sure. Try http It’s the MSB-1SB model – AUD$299.00 at time of writing.

Got something to say?
MEOW! im gettin the deluxe one soon! cant wait its such a damn good pedal!
@bassmangarrett151 Brian’s fine. It’s better than some of the other things I’ve been called! lol. 🙂 All good.
Awesome! And sorry for calling you Brian earlier. All those wampler demos got me confused!
@jcarterize
try plugging your bass into a washing machine
@jcarterize But if you want more flexibility, try the SansAmp Para Driver DI.
@jcarterize Yes.
Is this good for a geddy lee sound
wow awesome demo man! great range of tones displayed. Gave me a great overview of the pedal, and dont diss your playing man, your much better than me!:)
the only thing i can complain about it=s that i wish you used a jazz bass cuz thats what I own haha
haha nice slapping! cool toy
@TheZastava101 Thanks, I’ve got to learn to have more confidence in my four stringed abilities. Appreciated, cheers. 🙂
Burgerman, the bass is not at all that crappy as you say, and neither is your playing 😉 It’s obvious from your finger picking style that you’re a guitar player, but decent enough and the basic bass sound is not bad at all !
Thanks for the vids, really gave me a good idea about some pedals 🙂
bass! how long can you go?!
@Crodon Spelling pick, ‘plick’ – even smoother.
Dropping your plick, real smooth!
@LeMenuisierCH Crappy bass player to crappy bass to excellent VT Bass to M-Audio ProFire 610 to MacBook Pro to Logic 8 to Waves L2 Limiter (I think) to iMovie to you. 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Hey Burgerman, great video thank you! What is the total signal chain? Thanks.
@Maxendood this has much more mid-range and tonal possibilities. the only thing the bddi has is an xlr input, which you can get with the other version of the vt pedal.
@masterjj16 totally.
@Stracci99 They’re the stock Chinese pickups and strings that shipped with the bass back in 2005 when I bought it. Neither have been changed since.
These questions may seem off topic, but what kind of pick ups and strings are those?
Lmao at 1:50
i’m looking for a little grit in my bass tone. not enough to make it sound distorted, but enough so it doesn’t sound super clean. do you think this pedal would be able to do that for me?
@basshead71 Im a bassist and i think you play bass great. Even if you are a guitar player you still played the bass to show off its character and managed to play some sweet lines. after watching this video, you can now say you are a bassist
Shit.. much better than my ODB-3 ^.^
@Maxendood I’m sorry but I haven’t tried the bass driver DI. 🙁
