BYOC’s mighty Shredder pedal. Jacked into Amplitube Hendrix, standard Marshall setting. This is one hell of a distortion/OD pedal. It will compete easily with any of the booteek high-gain stuff.

Could I get some ac/dc tones with this? I think it may sound a little scooped? I have a Boss Turbo Distortion and I hate scooped sound 🙂

@mistersnaredrum Sounds like the pot is wired backwards. 😛 Only takes a few minutes if you want to fix it

@Burgerman666 But when it comes down to it…which one has better sound? (Between Crunch Box and Shredder). I like versatility and don’t mind having to tweak- I just want the best sound. Have a suggestion? 🙂
no its not…the contour control is supposed to work like that
how much does this cost?
i have two of them, and when the contour knob is all the way left they are heavily contoured, and they open up when pushed all the way right. yours seems to go the other way, but i didn’t build either of mine so i can’t promise mine are right… although they are better than they would be if i had built them :o)

Well, the bath water does swirl out the wrong way. Maybe contour knobs are affected as well. Actually, I have no idea. I’ll have to get back to you on that one..
