Tech 21 VT Bass with Telecaster
December 26, 2010
www.tech21nyc.com I reckon the VT Bass sounds pretty cool with guitar too. You have to wind the highs off a little but aside from that it’s got a real cool honk. Check it out.

Got something to say?
That’s pretty cool, a real great sound. Just wish it could do the higher gain fuzzy sound too.
way too trebly and squashed sounding. Really it sounds nothing like an amp. More like an uber compressed DI box
Good video!!!
Supernice! I really like your demo videos! I was thinking of getting the Liverpool pedal but now I don’t konw. I use an old 70’s Ampeg VT40 amp and I love it. This would be a good complement on gigs when I need to go directly to the PA without an amp!. Can the VT Bass pedal make a good clean sound for guitar as well?
That sounds HARSH!
Thanks, I was exactly thinking this pedal might work great with guitar too – now I know that it does…cheers!
Wow… This ittle thing reaaally got some tube sound in it. Fantastic both with a bass and with a guitar… Want one… Or two… 🙂
Thanks for the advice bud! im gonna try that 🙂
That sir, is the the classic Open G tuning as used by Ry Cooder and another guy called Keith Richards. Disregard the low E string all together and tune as follows – G, D, G B, D. Then stick your finger across any fret as a bar and play an Am7 shape on top of it. Voila! Instant Keef. All you need then is a keen right arm and a habit. 🙂
Hey mate! great video!
i’m a bass player and i play some guitar, i’d like to know what kind of tuning is it on 1:49 please?
one of my fav bands Turbonegro use this kind of chords ALOT!! 🙂
@frenzexperiment
Thanks for adding that last part in there.
you can fill ten pies with all that cream….really creamy fatty tone!!
niiiiice! I was thinking to get one for bass, now I know it’s gonna be huge on guitar too. Dealio!
Honky, sugar & rock n roll !!!!!!!
Great !
Awesome classic rock sound
Makes sense since Stones used Ampegs
Great sound!
Wow! That possibly sounds cooler than the other two. I love that type of sound.
Also dig those Telecaster-flavored lines… wonderful playing!
