Wampler: Nirvana Chorus with Telecaster

January 5, 2011

www.wamplerpedals.com The Nirvana Chorus Vibrato offers modulation effects that stretch from lush and warm to spacey and stunted. Its Rate knob is very powerful as is the combination potential of the three-way Intensity toggle with the Depth knob. Today we hear it in combination with my favorite Telecaster and into the Clean channel of my Laney Lionheart 5W amp. Swish, swirl and seasick. They’re all here. Thanks for watching! BK 🙂

Hey you spanners that keep asking if this is a pedal designed by Kurt Cobain..look up the word “Nirvana” in the dictionary. believe it or not, the word Nirvana existed long before the band decided to use it. (def)-any place of complete bliss and delight and peace
ps. I second that, can you pls do a demo with overdrive?

@PapaKenny777 and the small clone pretty much sucks… it is a tone sink, it is either not-hearable at all or way too strong (Come as you are) and doesn’t seem very well built. I dont understand why ehx is popular – they have never impressed me.

I love they way you show the diallings, tweaking up to 8 – 10 shows the true function of each setting. Very well done!

could you demo this with some overdrive though? i really need a good chorus for both clean and od

wow. that sounds awesome! my whole thing with chorus is i want that lush spacey sound, not the 80s cheesy sounds and thats hard to find.
i was considering the cosmichorus or retrosonics chorus before, but man this sounds good!

Is this a take on the chorus that Kurt Cobain use to use in nirvana? I think it was the eletro harmonix small clone that he used
