either that vasi is messed up or that airport has a glide path greater than 3 degrees.

Dang! That was right on! Must have the lights calibrated for a larger plane–or something! Nice landing and nice plane too.

Yes i agree…good landing and perfect altitude, at least it seemed…the 4 red light means that the plane is too low? Are you a pilot?

you can kinna see the red over white from 0:30-0:37. I think it was a good approach.

Must be the camera or something, that approach looked right on the money.

  12. cessnan121pp on February 4th, 2011 2:40 pm

  13. magentaline on February 4th, 2011 2:55 pm

Yes, a 335 is just an unpressurized 340. I think the Navajo is close to the same cruise. We plan 180 true in this one. Its just nice to climb above the weather!

Arnt those the same as Cessna 335s?..Is it faster than a piper navajo?

    Nice landing.

  16. magentaline on February 4th, 2011 4:11 pm

Touchdown is about 90 knots and with the big elevator and good brakes it will stop pretty fast.

  17. onecircle1 on February 4th, 2011 4:47 pm

You stopped so quick. I remeber longer rolls in a 152!. You have a big wind or something?

  18. magentaline on February 4th, 2011 5:13 pm

Yes, a 1976 340A that we just had an incredibly comprehensive upgrade on airframe and avionics. Wonderful airplane to fly!
