It wasnt an actual flying lesson, its through this program called young eagles i go to every year. im gonna get my liscense later on cause im to busy right now. the guy wasnt a CFI so i had to ride shotgun, but sinse ive flown b4 and since i knew so much, he let me fly the plane except for take off and landing. and i did taxi it btw
I agree with the guy under me.
If this is a flying lesson why aren’t you sitting in the pilot’s seat? Or is this for fun and he is not a CFI. He should at least let you taxi the airplane. With the runways he should have showed you on the DG. The easiest thing to do is imagine the runways on the DG to orient yourself. This works great when landing at an unfamiliar field. Keep flying and have fun.
