    wow. what a way to ruin a classic. lol. but then again. its a specialty aircraft.

    Very interesting. I agree that radials are cool, but if it’s a workhorse, the turbine makes sense. It”s done a lot in Alaska to DH Otters and to Beech 18s else where, and some of those are as old as any 195.

    For classic planes for shows the radila is fine for a work plane much better to have a turbine.

    Kind of ugly haha, looks like a rare turbo beaver, i rather the radial engine on that plane, as DITMN said, theres nothing better than a radial engine

    gotta love the garrets, but nothing beats a good old radial engine

    I’m sure that there are multiple great reasons to replace the old, tired radial with a modern turboprop engine. I’m just sad to see the radial go, that’s all. Call me nostalgic.
