Got something to say?
if u liked this check the DA 42 ,i love flying it everyday
@MrMushedup cirrus have an appalling safety rating. I’d happily have the DA40 over the SR22.

@weflycongo Comparing sr22 and da40 is unnecessary. da40 isn’t a high performance aircraft.
@SirAvairon yes
want
Hello, my question:
– This airplane have parachute system? Have certification for make IFR flight and night flight? Between this aircraft and Cirrus SR22, why choise this airplane? Only by price? Many thanks for your atention. Best Regards
I’m very impressed by this video. Looks like a lot of work. I also am a diamond flyer, but this video really gave me the bug to go fly… To bad winter in my home town (Cleveland) sucks for VFR! haha
Doing my instruments in it.. great aircraft.
It would be better if the wheels can retract…right?
I’ve been up in the aircraft from the video. It was a flight that I’m not likely to forget. We took it out to the gliderport out by Starbuck. It was really something to see the glass panel in action during the flight out and back.
this weekend im going up in one
cannot wait
LOL idiot
because there are two planes taking off??
Flew a DA-40 2 weeks ago 🙂
am gonna join har’s air next month 🙂
yahoooooooooo……
its my dream to fly 🙂
Because the Truck with the Cameraman in it was there!
how come you didn’t line up the plane with the center line before take off? worse, they put the video for others to see 🙁
That didnt happen to be on march 7th did it?
My instructor said the hours come up quickly on the DA-40’s, so as much as they are beautiful, they need plenty of looking after.
I flew a DA40 at ASI Jet Center in Eden Prairie Minnesota last weekend. The DA40 from this video was sitting on the ramp there…
mikepeavler: Perhaps there’s an IFR rating somewhere in the mix?
Mmm… Lancair IV. That’s a sweet airplane. Take it from a DA40 owner.
you can get a mooney for a lot less, and a lot less, with a lot more cruising speed and range. I will stick with my Lancair IV though.
i sooo want to buy one and hit the skies
