Awesome takeoff, man! Thanks for sharing this. I’ve never been aboard a Jumbo, so this is great to watch. All the wing flex and the condensation in the intakes 🙂

@TheChosenRed Thanks!! We were actually a little light, Around 750,000lbs and with around 100 seats open! We were going to Tokyo Narita.

    Once again thanks for subscribing!

Woah, that was one long take off roll, near enough the whole length of the runway! Was it a full load on this flight and where was your destination? Awesome video and have now subscribed!

@iryan74656 Yep! All I have to pay for is the international taxes which is about $30 one way on this flight, Which I consider quite a nice discount from the $10,000 price tag on some of those BizElite seats!!!

You get free flight with your dad right

@scaremengaviation Yes, its a lot of fun to know the Captain personally! I also walked through the whole cabin during the night with a smile on my face knowing that all these people have trusted my dad and the other crew members to take them on such a long journey.

@maverick967 Oh.. that’s so cool! My friend’s dad is a DL pilot on the 752/763. I was on one of flights from LAX-ATL! The feeling you get when you know who is flying the plane is so… unique.

@scaremengaviation He is a Captain(Pilot) on the 744. He actually started out flying Convair 580s out of MSP with Republic Airlines way back in the day! Then he went to the DC-9 as a First Officer(Co-Pilot) then a few years later he went to Captain on the DC-9. Then in 1999 he went through training on the A320 and became an FO for about a year then went to Capt. on the A320, and thennow in 2011 he became a Capt. on the 744!

So he’s been flying for quite a while with Republic,Northwest,Delta!

Is he a Pilot or Co-Pilot? Because in one of your videos the description is “my dad’s first flight with the 747.” He climbed up that ladder fast! 😉

I now consider you luck beyond all belief! I would kill for a front wing view!
