Through the efforts of a small, Flagstaff-based organization providing warm clothing, medical supplies and training to the poorest of the poor, “One Steppe at a Time” takes us on a touching, and at times raw, journey into the reality of survival in modern-day Mongolia. Personal stories and the volunteers’ impressions are interwoven throughout this thought-provoking documentary.
